Cans for Comments!
Congratulations, Cyd, for turning 84 comments into cans! With her matching friends and bloggers, that turned into 252 non-perishable food items.

I've matched this donation, but in my laziness, I turned it into dollars. Unfortunately, I just don't have time to go out and buy canned/non-perishable food. And with on-line donating, the charities get the money today. Hopefully, the organizations can get food at cost or cheaper prices from grocery stores / supplies.
So Martha's Table and The Kingston Food Bank split $84. Here's hoping it makes a difference.
And I gave the Salvation Army $40, too. They have just announced they are slightly short of their projected goal for 2008's Christmas appeal.
I just got your email and I am so thrilled! I can only hope that together we were all able to make some bit of difference with so many people in need this holiday season.
I am going to be emailing you tomorrow, so be on the lookout! ;-)
