Evidentally, it's Snow Day in blog-o-land. Or so I've been informed by Rachel at Girl Learning Along The Way, who was informed by Sabrina at Introverted Wife.

P.S. There's no snow on the ground here. Oh well! Someone stoke that fire in the fireplace (the one that I wish I had) for me!
Oh, and Wade proposed to me exactly a year ago yesterday. One of these days, I'll write about it. Promise. Just not sure when I'll get around to it.

Happy engagiversary! (I can't think of a better word right now...)
I like the snowball monkey!
I can't wait to hear the story!!!
Love the monkey :) You should have put up a picture of him. And congratulations on one year of being engaged. Hope it has been wonderful. LB x
Happy Anniversary! And Happy Snow Day!
Happy Snow Day!
So, did you get any snow last night?? Chris said it snowed a couple feet in Montreal last night!!!
Yeah, we didn't really get snow here, it was some light ice in a few locations. It DID snow a little, but the tiniest of snowflakes just kind of floated down and melted.
It's funny, because it's really looking more like late fall here instead of winter. The leaves are finally starting to all fall off.
Ah, yes.... one of the things/chores that makes me thankful we DON'T get snow on a regular basis - shoveling. And clearing your car. When I was growing up (in Indiana), I never had to shovel snow, so I just got to think it was pretty and play in it. Now that I'm older, I take for granted that I can run out of my house when I need to leave and not have to shovel or clear anything! Or wear snow shoes!!
So maybe I just need to go on vacation to visit the snow... I don't know that I'd really like the snow all winter after all. Guess I'm spoiled!
