Invitations

These are the invitations (with some variations, of course) we're going to get:

They're from Bella Figura and they haven't been ordered yet. I had entered a contest to win $350 on Snippet & Ink, but I didn't win. My odds were better than the lottery, but not quite as good as Bridechka's first giveaway. I would have used the money to purchase the response cards. Since I didn't win, out of financial necessity, I'm going to "DIY" the response cards. I'll show you that project when I do it.

Those are gorgeous! I do love them... Is that letterpress? Not sure if it'll help, but i'm having a Wedding Paper Divas contest on my site. I won $100 for WPD last year, and just recently used them towards our E-party invites (will post @them soon). Every little bit counts at this point... :) Can't wait to see what you come up with for the dIY :)

Yes, it is letterpress. I love how thick and delicious the letterpress is! Yes, I just say paper is delicious. But I swear I'm not eating the paper!

Very elegant. I love the letterpress. Did you check out this contest http://cynthiamartyn.typepad.com/cynthiamartynevents/2009/01/modern-romance-contest.html? It's not for Bella Figura but it's for Wedding Paper Divas and Beau-Coup. Looking forward to your DIY project.

It'd be lovely to have a wedding in Tuscany, Italy. But it's not going to happen! :)

Love this design! I have the same sample sitting in a Bella Figura box here on my desk. They are so gorgeous! And yes yes, the cotton paper is absolutely delicious and perfect.

I love how simple and beautiful they are!! This is so similar to my taste in invitations. Although I admire the modern style that many brides/grooms choose when it comes to invites, I still come back to the simple and more traditional. Great choice!
