Weather ... I like this one better :)

I know, it's still a wee bit early so the weather could still change ... but as Brandy just pointed out to me this afternoon, the forecast has improved. (Thanks, Brandy!)

Updated weather forecast

What can I say? I can't pick the weather, so not much I can do. But it's still early, yet, so it could change again.

It's getting close ...

And I know this because (well, other than being able to read a calendar) the long-term forecast is available for our wedding.

Actually, it's been available for a few days, but I didn't clue in I could check it. Wade pointed out today that it's supposed to have stopped raining and be okay on the 6th: sunny with cloudy periods, a high of 21C (70F). Wow, that sounds good to me! Of course, it's still a crapshoot at this point! :)

And what's the worse that can happen? It rains really hard? While a hard rain would be disappointing - no outdoor pictures - I'll still get married. Best case scenario? A day that is not hot / humid. Either way, I should have a lot of fun!

Rain, Rain, Go Away ...

Doesn't every girl just dread rain on her wedding day? It'll wreck everything: your hair will go limp, your dress will get dirty, and everyone will be glum. What an awaful fate!

Of course, you could always just approach your day with a little creativity (to keep your dress dry) and a smile (it is, after all, your wedding day). Your bridesmaids will carry your train a little higher. You will wear waterproof mascara (I'm pretty sure I will wear waterproof mascara regardless). You will have your receiving line inside. And so on.

Plus, if it rains, you're supposed to have a good marriage. I've heard that if it rains on your wedding day, you won't cry in your marriage ... or maybe I've actually heard that if you cry on your wedding day, you won't cry in your marriage. Okay I'm not sure now! ... Maybe I just made it up that rain on your wedding day is good luck. At least you'll at least have a story to tell about how it rained on your wedding day, but you still managed to enjoy yourself.

And you may have some unique / fun photographs:
